By Train: Kodai road is the nearby railway station, at a distance of 100 km.Next to kodai road railway station, dindugal railway station is closer.
By Bus: There are plenty of buses plying from various cities like Chennai, Pondicherry, Trichy, Madurai, Palani and Coimbatore. Kodaikanal is about 90 km from Dindigul city.
By Road/Self Drive: Kodaikanal is 80 km far from Kodai Road. One has to travel for 2 hours from Kodai road or dindugal and for 3.5 hours from Madurai. You can also get to Kodaikanal from Cochin via the hill station of Munnar.
